Megan is a highly motivated, driven Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, who recently completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Northumbria University. Known for her warm, personable nature, she is committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care that combines evidence-based practice with a holistic approach.

A former representative of the Bermuda National Football Team and captain of her volleyball team, Megan brings a strong understanding of the physical and psychological demands athletes face. She previously completed a Sports Science degree at Newcastle University. Her journey into physiotherapy was shaped by personal experiences, following multiple ankle sprains that ultimately required reconstructive ankle surgery. She gained first‑hand insight into the rehabilitation process from an athlete’s perspective and now helps clients from a professional viewpoint. This experience strengthened her belief that successful outcomes are built not only on clinical expertise but also on open communication, trust, and an in‑depth understanding of an individual’s goals.

Clinically, Megan has a particular interest in lower limb injuries, injury prevention, sports‑specific injuries and rehabilitation. Megan completed her dissertation on the effects of menstrual cycles on soft tissue injuries in female athletes. She has experience working pitchside within elite football, rugby, and hockey environments, supporting the assessment and management of acute injuries. She enjoys guiding athletes through structured rehabilitation and return‑to‑running and return-to-play protocols. Megan has research experience from her dissertation during her Sports Science degree on the effects of neck strengthening on concussions in rugby players.

Megan is an advocate for having an active lifestyle, Megan leads by example. She recently completed her first marathon in Lisbon and enjoys the challenge of a Hyrox, giving her a practical appreciation for training demands, load management, and recovery strategies to perform at her best. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travelling and spending time back home in Bermuda, to recharge under the sun.
