Brilliant experience with Pro Health Physiotherapy NE. Darren has helped me from a stage of repair after an injury, progressing to strengthening of the injured area. All sessions were tailored to meet my individual needs. Once the injury had been repaired, Darren developed and put me into a physical training plan that helped my personal and sporting needs. He was highly knowledgeable and able to explain in detail how to improve my injury. Pain free and feeling a lot stronger than prior to injury. Would highly recommend.

I visited Darren for a post op rehab plan as I was about to have surgery on my knee after suffering with patella tendinopathy for many years. I have seen many physios and doctors in different parts of the world over the course of six years and quite frankly, no one had been able to help me. I decided to try Darren's rehab programme and I am so glad that I did. Not only have I cancelled my operation, I have even started to run again. I went to see Darren after a trusted recommendation and because my life had become so much smaller due to a long term shoulder injury and a more recent but reoccurring achilles issue. I was anxious but Darren put me totally at ease. Shoulders are quite complex and I hadn’t understood what was causing the issue until Darren explained it to me. This visualisation has strengthened my confidence and focus. Darren also listened carefully as I burbled on about why I wanted to be ‘fully functioning’ again and he kindly plays this back to me; I always leave feeling highly motivated. I am running again, certain that I will get stronger and not break and I am also regaining confidence in my shoulder. Firmly recommended; best physio I have seen.

I’ve struggled with a hip injury for about 3 years and had never had much success with physiotherapy before. I booked in for a session with Darren after being recommended Pro Health Physiotherapy by my trainer at Pioneer Performance. After the first session I had a clear idea of what the issue was and what was required to correct the issue. It was the first time I had been given personalised exercises that were easy to complete at home. After a few sessions with Darren my hip felt much better and for the first time in a while I felt confident to go back to rowing.
